Catering Reservations, Procedures & Policies

Reservations for Banquets, Buffets, Class Reunions, Conventions, Dances, Fund-raisers, Funeral Brunches, Meetings, Seminars, Wedding Receptions, etc., can be arranged by contacting the Catering Manager at (207) 623-8211.

All food and beverage items must be purchased and prepared by Le Club Calumet staff. No outside catering service is allowed to purchase or prepare any food or beverage items to be consumed in our facilities, as our catering license prohibits us from doing so.

The lessee will not be allowed to remove any food or beverage items, which were not consumed by those in attendance, from the premises. All food and beverages remain the property of Le Club Calumet, even if the Lessee did not meet the guarantee stated to the Lessor.

The Lessee will be responsible for any loss or damage to the building, decorations, equipment or fixtures damaged during the function due to the behavior of the Lessee and/or guests.

Decorations to walls, ceilings or equipment will only be allowed by our own designated person. If you require decorations in these areas, please make arrangements with the person whose name we will make available to you.

Guarantees & Cancellations

Within ten days prior to the scheduled function, a guaranteed number of persons who will be attending must be submitted to the Catering Manager.

The Lessee must notify the Catering Manager no less than fifteen working days prior to the scheduled function of any cancellations to avoid being charged for previously arranged services. If a cancellation should occur, Le Club Calumet will attempt to keep the specified cost down. The deposit will be refunded only if the Lessee notifies the Catering Manager, in writing, of the cancellation sixty(60) calendar days prior to the scheduled function.

A $250.00 deposit (to be deducted from the final bill) is required at the time of booking our facilities for all banquet hall rentals. Date will be confirmed only upon receipt of a $250.00 deposit.

Functions choosing only from the hors d'oeuvres portion of our menu are not considered a meal catering function. Lessees will be billed Maine State Sales Tax and a 20% service charge on food items only. Meal prices are subject to change without notice to customers, however, an effort will be made to inform the Lessee of
any changes in prices.

Linen or paper tablecloths and napkins are available in a variety of colors. Prices are determined by the quotes of the linen company provider.

Payment in full for all functions and banquet hall rentals is required on the day of the event unless otherwise agreed to in advance.
